I’d rather not be a cog in someone’s machine. If I don’t have to, and there’s no necessity for it, I won’t.

There’s always another cog to be found in some bag tossed in a dark storage room.

I’d rather be a wanderous cog, out there in the wilderness - detached from the machine.

Of course I might care for the machine. But even if and when I give a damn about it, the machine will work with or without me [maybe it won’t? in some machines, every part is necessary].

Independence is a blessing, so is a community. But sometimes you must rely on your own autonomy and not let others dictate your role for the whole — because sometimes, well, fuck the whole.
